Yes, at least the term. To accomplish the same as you did before with goals: you should first create a custom event and then mark that event as a conversion.
Note: it can take a while before your custom event will appear (and before you can mark it as a conversion).
When it appears you can mark it as a conversion.
Though you can already “test” is (to see if you defined the custom event properly) by going to the real-time view.
